I started my career in the wedding industry back in 2002 when education and online groups for the industry were non-existent. Being a part of a group like the Certified Wedding Planner Society would have been a complete game changer for me! Top-notch education, real-life experience, a peer group that understands the struggle, and sneak peeks into software and tools that level up a company are what CWPS is all about. I've made it a personal mission to do what I can to elevate the wedding industry and being a promoter and huge cheerleader of CWPS helps get me there. Laurie Hartwell, CWPS CEO, embodies everything you want in a leader. She provides experience, empathy, creativity, positivity, professionalism, and kindness. Laurie has changed the lives of so many people including my own. It's an honor to call her a friend and I have so much respect for all she is doing to better the lives of everyone involved with CWPS!
